UGC Guidelines : Supreme Court hearing tomorrow, asked to declare results

The Supreme Court of India is likely to hear the plea of 31 student’s from 13 states who filed petition against UGC latest guidelines asking to scrap final year exam’s and declare results before 31st July.

The petition also demands to declare results on the basis of previous performance and internal assessment if any taken by colleges. Aaditya Thakrey have also challenged the UGC guidelines in Supreme court.

According to reports, Supreme court

will hear the case tomorrow noon. Delhi High court is also hearing the petition similar to this against Delhi University.

HC have asked UGC to submit it’s R.C Kuhad report to them before next hearing in a sealed cover.

According to student’s, it won’t be feasible for anyone to conduct final year exam’s at this stage where covid cases are at peak.
