DU EXAMS 2020 : DU Counsel’s computer hanged during High Court hearing

Delhi HC : Today Delhi University counsel’s computer hanged in the middle of the hearing and exactly at wrong timing. Delhi HC is hearing a petition challenging the university decision to conduct OBE.

Te Hon’ble court is questioning about the lack of internet access and poor network throughout the country. Suddenly, DU counsel’s computer hanged and he said “give me a second lordship, my computer hanged”.

The Court point out “That’s our point, connections hang, electricity goes out throughout the country”.

The Court also highlights the situation of delhi today. In the capital city, there was a continuous 4 hour rain and electricity was cut in many areas of New Delhi. If the exam held today, how a student is supposed to give exam without internet and electricity.

R.C Kuhad Report

The hon’ble court asked UGC to submit Kuhad committee report in front of the court in sealed cover before next hearing. The court want’s to check the mode of exam’s recommended by panel. If there is no mode mentioned that means any university can take exam through any mode, OBE, MCQ, Presentations, theories, OMR and Assignments.

The next hearing will be day after tomorrow i.e on Friday, 24 july, 2020. The supreme Court hearing will also be heard tomorrow, sources confirmed.
