Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras said on Tuesday it presented the first “BSc” courses in the world in the field of science and data systems.
Courses will be open to anyone who has passed the 12th class in English and Maths in the 10th grade, and who is enrolled in any on-campus undergraduate class. Even a current batch of 12th-grade students is eligible to apply. Graduates and co-workers can take this course.

The program was presented by Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ of the Union Human Resource Development (HRD), along with HRD Minister Sanjay Dhotre.
The curriculum will be launched on an online platform, drawing students from far and wide areas of India where access to digital literacy is limited and will help them move forward in their career paths. To ensure that the online learning platform is the same as the classroom environment, just like any other daily lesson, the curriculum will include teacher-provided videos, weekly assignments and personalized assessments.
