Given the lack of campus exposure amidst the pandemic, the Internship Fair was conducted over a Unique Virtual Platform with 3D mapped set up to make this event as close to an offline experience. The platform featured designated areas that enhanced the overall user experience: Auditorium for the inauguration ceremony, Information Desk for Technical Support, and Interview Halls with Dedicated Booths for each Recruiter. The Placement Cell also came up with their dashboard website. The new website aims to provide students with a better and convenient way to stay updated with the opportunities brought to them by the cell. It gives better access to About Us (the Placement Cell), Internships, Placement Drives, Workshops, and the monthly blog – “CORPORATE CATENA” – covering professional topics. The students can find useful information about the services on the HomePage and the DRIVES and INTERNSHIPS sections highlight the available opportunities. To submit their applications easily, students can create their profiles and apply to internships and drives within a minute. There exists a chatbox on the Home Page to ensure convenience for everyone! Amongst the new features, the site contains integrated social media buttons for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn to foster improved communication with the students. The site has salient features as well like a section where students can find Newsletters that gives a monthly summary of all the placement drives and internships conducted along with an article on topics that help students to gain insights on various skills, a separate section for the monthly blog of the Placement Cell- “Corporate Catena”, the contact details of the Core Team and The Recruitment Brochure. The cell also added the Alumni Connect section which seeks support from the alumni in facilitating the placement of present students as well.

The ultimate goal is to provide a helping hand to students in their initial step into the world of work, thereby creating a legacy.
