The CBSE exam question paper leak has created a panic among students, teachers and parents. They want a detailed investigation on this issue for class 12 Economics and class 10 Mathematics are two major subjects of the classes.
This incident has badly impacted the students and some even staged a protest at Jantar Mantar. Their demand is that ‘Either there should be re-examinations of all subjects or else of none’.
The sources have revealed that the paper was leaked just half-an-hour before the examination in various parts of the country.
Delhi police have already set a special team for investigating this paper leak, and have started questioning people since last evening. The source of the CBSE leaked papers is still to be traced, though it seems to have been circulated over WhatsApp, the encrypted messenger service.
A re-test has been announced for both these subjects by the CBSE Board as an immediate action to maintain the sanctity of the board exams.
The sources have revealed the tentative dates for the re-exams, for Class 12 Economics paper will be held on April 24, 2018, while the CBSE Class 10th Mathematics exam will be re-conducted on April 26, 2018. This is yet to be confirmed officially by CBSE.
