Indian Management Institute Ahmedabad (IIM-A) has topped the list of county’s best management institutes in the 2020 National Institutional Ranking Framework list, announced Thursday by the Minister of Human Resource Development, Dr. Ramesh Pokriyal.
IIM Bangalore is second while IIM Calcutta is third in the ranking. IIM Lucknow, IIT Kharagpur and IIMKozhikode have clinched the fourth, fifth and sixth spots, respectively. IIM Indore, IIT Delhi, XLRI Jamshedpur and the Gurugram Institute of Management Development bagged the seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth spots respectively.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has top of the country’s overall list of higher education institutes. IISc Bengaluru came in second and IITDelhi was ranked third in the national ranking of higher institutes of the HRD ministry. Among India’s colleges, Miranda House at Delhi University is at the top, while LSR bagged the second place and Hindu College came in sixth.
