DU Open Book Exams : Additional facilities for students appearing in OBE

New Delhi : Delhi High Court directed Delhi University to go ahead with the DU open book examination (OBE) with few changes. OBE are going to commence from August 10, Monday and will be concluded by August 31.

Delhi HC orders Delhi university to change few points in the guidelines and add additional facilities for students as directed by HC. Delhi University will now give 4 hours for completing the OBE to regular students. 6 hours will be given to PWD students.

Students have the following options for uploading/emailing the answer scripts:

  1. Students can scan the answer sheet question wise. Limit per PDF/JPG is now 7 MB.
  2. Students are also allowed to send the answer sheets on email address – obescript@exam.du.ac.in
  3. Students must write their Roll Number, Unique Paper Code (UPC) and Date of Examination (dd/mm/yyyy) in the subject of their emails, e.g. Rollno-UPC-Date.

In the mail body student must write the following:

a) Student Name:
b) Examination Roll Number:
c) Name of Programme:
d) Unique Paper Code (UPC):
e) Title of the Paper (attempted):
f) Name of College:
g) Semester:
h) Date and Time of Examination: dd/mm/yy

Students will receive an automatic acknowledgement email from Delhi university once they submit there answer sheets on portal or email.
