The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) datesheet of class 10th and 12 board examination will be released on February 2, says Ramesh Pokhriyal, Union Education Minister, in a live session with CBSE school principals.

 

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Board examinations of CBSE class 10th and 12th got shelved. The CBSE board exams are usually held in March. But, this year the exams will commence in May.

 

A few days back, the Education Minister on 31st December notified that the final board exams of both classes 10th and 12th will begin from 4 May and will end on June 10, 2021. Although, the practical exams will start from March 1, 2021. The results will be declared on the official website of CBSE on 15th July 2021.

 

Union Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal on 28th January 2021, interacted with presidents and the head bodies of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Sahodaya School complexes to review the modifications in the CBSE curriculum for the academic year of 2021-2022 in the face of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. 

 

The live session was initiated at 2 PM with more than 1000 school principals from over 250 schools. The Education Minister stated that “During the time of the coronavirus pandemic, we successfully conducted the online classes and CBSE board, JEE, NEET, and various other examinations.”

 

Ramesh Pokhriyal further stresses on the regional language as a medium of instruction in primary schools and the need to inculcate vocational education from class 6 onwards to give the students the space to use their knowledge and experience to build their future and career.

 

Education Minister Pokhriyal also shed light on the achievement of the successful running of CBSE in 28 nations. Furthermore, he says, “The records of all CBSE students who enrolled in the span of the last 45 years will be digitized. This will help citizens who enrolled after 1975 to get certificates easily. Further, CBSE will train 10 lakh teachers in the coming year to meet the goals of the New Education Policy 2020.”
