Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE is scheduled to release the CBSE 12 result 2018 in the month of May. Sources and experts had shared earlier that the results are expected to be released by the board earlier than usual this year. Sources now share that the results are likely to be declared anytime in the week between May 15 to 23. Updates on the result would be released on cbseresults.nic.in.
The date suggested earlier was May 23. However, after the recent announcement by various varsities, the sources have shared that CBSE may release the CBSE 12 results next week. Last week, Delhi University confirmed that the undergraduate admissions for the academic year would start from May 15. Other national universities have also opened the undergraduate admissions. With the start of the admission in the various varsities, students are required to provide the information. As many as 14.5 lakh candidates have reportedly appeared from all across the country for the CBSE 12 board examinations 2018. To ensure a smooth admission cycle, the MHRD had last year shared its vision to hasten the result declaration process. At the beginning of the examinations, CBSE had this year ensured a strong system to manage the evaluation work. In an unprecedented move, CBSE had written to all the schools about evaluation duty. School administrators were strictly reminded that any failure to allow teachers assigned for checking duty would be considered a breach of affiliation norms.Examiners have also shared that this year the evaluation work started along with the examination. The past trends usually delayed the evaluation work. However, the same was accelerated this year. Many have reported that by April 25, most of the evaluation work was already complete.
Following the speed with which CBSE is working towards the evaluation of answer sheets, experts feel that the board may be ready to release the results on May 15. The board, however, has not confirmed as yet. Updates on the dates are expected by next week.
