Amity Youth Forum (AYF) 2020, Online School Edition organized by Amity university for students from classes IX-XII was done. AYF-2020 Online School Edition was organized to help students engage in creative activities. More than 8000 students from 1000 schools participated in the event. More than 74 competitions were hosted in 13 categories. The events were formed in a way that helped to challenge the minds of participating students. Chief Guest in AYF-2020 were Shri Dinesh Sharma, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Dr. Ashok K Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Group of Institution, Dr. Atul Chauhan, Chancellor, Amity University and Dr. Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor, Amity University took the honour to announce the results.
Shri Dinesh Sharma gave his blessings to the student and also motivated the students who participated in the event and also praised the efforts that were taken by Amity University, by providing food packets and other necessary things and helping migrant workers to reach their hometowns during the ongoing Covid crisis.
He also said that such a platforms helps students and also inspires them to take their country forward. He also said that the way of teaching and the education sector has drastically changed due to the ongoing pandemic and the use of online methods for teaching has also increased. Shri Sharma also said that the government knows the importance of providing access to education to students during these uncertain times and also the resources that are needed to access online education.
Dr. Ashok K Chauhan also said that it was a big day for Amity University to have a visionary leader like Shri Dinesh Sharma in their event and he also thanked him for giving such inspiring words and also for inspiring the staff and students. Dr. Chauhan also said that they are ready to to work with the state government to make Uttar Pradesh an education hub and also congratulated the minister for his vision and measures taken for the education sector in the state.
Dr. Atul Chauhan shared that Uttar Pradesh as a state is very important for Amity as this is the place where Amity led it’s foundation. it’s schools and universities were started here only and now they have acknowledged growth across the world. He said- “ What we have achieved is only because of motivation of leaders like you. Humanity comes first for you and I would like to ask my students to follow your example and learn to respect humanity and be humble” .
18000 students from across the world participated in AYF online 2020 school edition and Dr. Chauhan congratulated all the participants for their enthusiasm and showing there best capability.

Dr. Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor, Amity University shared upon the initiatives that were taken by the Amity University during the lockdown period and also talked about the various competitions that were organised during AYF Online 2020 School Edition. The winner of the Poster Making and Art Completion organized on the theme ‘Social Consciousness: Need of the Hour” was from St. Thomas School, Kidwai Nagar, Kanpur in the Poster making category.
In Poster Presentation on E-learning winner was from Greater Noida World School.
In the Inter School Yoga Completion winner was from Little Angels High School Shivpuri link road, Gwalior.
In Srijan competition, winners were from The Indian High School, Dubai, UAE .
In Quizzards of Oz- “The Ecoquiz” Amity International School Noida bagged the first position.
