There are many students in our country who are affected from this Lockdown. The entire life of Students have been changed from Offline learning to Online Learning.
There are many young mind’s who have utitlized this lockdown either to explore new opportunities or learn something new. Students have worked with Start-ups and companies to keep themselves busy in this pandemic.
A Young Girl, Muskan Mendiratta, who applied for an internship through Internshala in a startup called wiredo.xyz . Wiredo solutions is a global IT solutions provider that provides support and momentum to emerging & established businesses in the areas of portal development, website development, social networking, search engine optimization, graphics designing, and web development.
Muskan joined this firm on 23rd June, 2020 as an HR intern for the duration of 2 month’s. She was in touch with a HR manager, Shahid Malhotra. This Manager started threatening this young girl and abusing her for no reason.
Later, Muskan found that the same was happening with the other interns as well. In a common group of this firm, the guy Shahid Malhotra was found sending rape threats and abusing girls. This company has no social media presence and it seems to be a fake company.
Internshala being a middle man is highly responsible for this. Companies cannot hire interns directly from this reputed platform untill and unless Internshala team have verified there profile and put them live on the portal.
A company with no physical and virtual presence cannot hire interns from Internshala as per the policy of the company. A big question arises in the mind’s of Students who trust Internshala and apply through them.
I’m too the victim of this scam. Internshala team should’ve done the background check before posting the company’s requirement on the portal. We, the students are the one suffering now.
