In the last High court Hearing conducted on 8th July, 2020 High court directs University of Delhi to file an affidavit on how and when the final year examination will be conducted and till when the results will be declared by Monday, 13th July, 2020 i,e Today.
Our sources shared that Delhi University have submitted it’s decision on final year exams which will be discussed tomorrow in the hearing. The Hearing will start tomorrow noon with the officials. The response of the University cannot be disclosed among the media before hearing said Akash Sinha, Lawyer.
Delhi High court have also asked UGC and MHRD to submit the fresh SOP and guidelines released on 6th July, 2020. It was mentioned by few petitioners that UGC have clearly stated that University can evaluate results on the basis of Assignments, Internals and Presentations.
A submission made against the postponement of OBE by one of the final-year students was that it will lead to inability to avail of employment in public sector undertakings as the deadline for submission of mark sheets was July 31.
The petitioners also raised the issue of inability to pursue postgraduate studies in foreign universities, including the U.S. and the U.K., as transcripts had to be submitted by end of July or early August.
