New Delhi : The Supreme Court has reserve its order on the plea challenging UGC guidelines to conduct final year exams. States and Students are against the decision of UGC.
Advocate Alakh alok srivastava on the behalf of 31 petitioners informed students that bench has not pronounce order today. He also informed that the same bench is not sitting tomorrow as well. Now, there are chances that order will be announced on August 26, Wednesday.

According to reports, senior advocates of Supreme court are demanding for early order. Since, many universities are starting final year exams from tomorrow onwards, thousands of students are waiting for the order.

On August 18, the apex court has asked all parties to submit short notes on the final arguments. As per the latest updates, all parties has submitted their notes in the court.
Supreme Court verdict may effect DU OBE

If Supreme Court verdict comes in the favour of students, then it will likely effect Delhi University Open Book Exams. Since, University of Delhi OBE is coming to an end and all major exams have been conducted.
The Supreme Court order can directly effect the OBE. It can also lead to cancel further pending exams including physical exams which are going to commence from 14 August.
If the apex court order comes against the students and SC allows to conduct final year exams, then Delhi University examination schedule will work as scheduled.
