College societies make our college life enjoyable and more interesting. Colleges under Delhi University have lots of societies like Commerce society, economics society, dramatics society, music society, etc. Every society conduct auditions and interviews to select their team.

1. Gargi College

Upstage, the dramatics society of Gargi College, has established Gargi’s legacy on stage and wishes to further achieve a stellar performance history.
Upstage prepared socially-awakening annual productions, and eventually chose to perform on a non-competitive ground due to the conflict we faced.
Annual Productions – Bohot Badhiya University – Laado (Both were self scripted and team directed plays)

• Performed at Roots, the short play festival in the Safdar Studio

The Dramatics society of this college provides an opportunity to the students to indulge into theatrical activities through street play and stage play.
The society has succeeded in initiating a culture of pure, unadulterated dramatics in our college and hopes that the coming generations would add feathers of betterment to the cap of society and help it scale even greater heights.

3. Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce

MANCHTANTRA, the Dramatics society of S.G.G.S.C.C was founded in 2008 by a group of enthusiastic, dedicated and determined students. The diligent group of students worked relentlessly to make a mark in the D.U theatre circuit.
In the very first year of the society, 2008-2009, they came up with two productions: “Countdown”, a play focusing on friendship, forbidden relations, trust, betrayal, and consuming guilt all overpowered by the deadliest pleasure of all – revenge.

The group is emerging as one of the big names in campus theater and has been participating in various inter-college theater competitions and festivals.
Nepathya celebrates Street theatre every year with its annual Street theatre Event ‘Dekh Tamasha’ During College Cultural festival, “SURLOK”.
