About Samarpan 3.0

A culmination of various unique and mind-boggling events, Samarpan 3.0 is a two-day fest that would be conducted by NSS SBSC for the occasion of NSS Day, aiding students in earning the knowledge of the technical world infused with the college experience. We intend to prove how fun and interactive online college fests can be by bringing together this virtual fest held completely in online mode. The following are the events that would take place on both days.

  1. Markgician

It can be believed that people and products have a unique tale to tell. From waking up in the morning to going to bed at night, every aspect of one’s life revolves around numerous brands. From toothbrushes to clothes and shoes, one can observe themselves being surrounded by by-products from different brands, undoubtedly grown up consuming them, but, sometimes even the most popular ones carry various surprising elements.

For this event, the very first round would constitute a google-form round which would include questions based on brand names, logos and taglines. The following round would showcase the ability of participants to create memes of an app given on the spot. The final round would assess how the participant would market any given clip from any Netflix show or a movie.

  1. Mystic Key

As Arthur Conan Doyle says, “The world is full of obvious things which nobody by any chance ever observes,” mysteries and puzzles have always proved to be inevitable in becoming part of one’s life; some in choices, some delivered through outcomes. Some present in the form of questions while some send into a labyrinth, some are omnipresent and some are hidden unless recognised, but with this time the mysterious surprise is going to take everyone on an adventurous journey away from the dilemma, away from hysteria, distancing from the social to a world filled with adventure.

The event, Mystic Key, would again follow three rounds, the first evaluating the logic-reasoning-ridden brains of the participants through google forms. The next round is basically an escape room which would be acquired after following a map. The last round would be challenging the power of participants to spot camouflaged elements in an image.
