Greetings! The Economics Society, St. Stephen’s is pleased to host Mr. Montek Singh Ahluwalia for a lecture under the Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to commemorate the seventy-fifth year of India’s independence.
Mr. Montek Singh Ahluwalia, was the former Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission of India and the first Director of the Independent Evaluation Office at the International Monetary Fund.

The session will be held on the theme, ‘Economic Challenges for the next 20 years’. The lecture will be held for 35-40 minutes, followed by a 15 minutes question and answer session. The session is open to students of all colleges.
