New Delhi : The Delhi High Court Thursday looked for reaction of the Delhi University on a request by the Grievance Redressal Committee, set up regarding the progressing on the web Open Book Examination (OBE) for conclusive year courses, guaranteeing that the varsity was not helping out its working.
Equity Prathiba M Singh gave notice to the college on the advisory group’s application and recorded the issue for additional consultation on Friday.
The high court had on August 7 given its gesture for leading on the web OBE and reconstituted the Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) under the aegis of resigned judge, Justice Prathiba Rani.
It had said the board will work till OBE proceeds and the students objections should be tended to inside five days.
The online OBE began from August 10 and will proceed with August 31.
The GRC, in its request through one of its part and promoter Kamal Gupta, looked to illuminate the high court that the college has not been agreeing to any of the bearings gave by the court which was making it hard for the board to satisfy the obligations.
It looked for heading to the varsity to actualize the court’s bearing qua GRC.
The direction for the solicitor students, advocates Akash Sinha and Shubham Saket additionally bolstered the GRC’s application and expressed that the varsity has not been agreeing to the court’s structure.
Delhi University has likewise tested the single appointed authority’s August 7 request and it is planned to come in the mood for hearing before a division seat of the high court on Friday.
Different individuals from GRC included Professor K S Rao, Professor Kavita Sharma, senior backer B Gupta and legal counselor Kamal Gupta.
The GRC was guided by the court to manage all the complaints of the students in regard of downloading of inquiry papers, transferring of answer sheets, specialized glitches, delays in transferring and some other issues looked by students during the lead of the OBE assessments.
The varsity was likewise coordinated to handover the secret key for the complaint redressal email record to the Chairperson of the board of trustees, that is, Justice Rani.
The court had coordinated that satisfactory game plans be made by the Dean (Examinations) of the college to empower the board of trustees to meet practically or in his office.
