UNISED, IIT Kanpur’s Unit of Educational Development, has decided to provide collaboration opportunities to MSME Training Centres with Higher Education Institutions, IITs, and School Education under Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyaan. This collaboration by Rashtriya Avishkar Lab by UNISED-IIT Kanpur would help the MSMEs to achieve Atmanirbhar Bharat.
Ministry of Human Resource Development has set up the Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan(RAA) to make learning outside school easy and innovative with the use of technology. Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan(RAA) a set up by Ministry of Human Resource and Development is a convergent framework which aims at nurturing a spirit of inquiry and creativity, affection for Science and Mathematics, to develop a sense of effective use of technology amongst children, encouragement of those who show an inclination and talent for these subjects and providing support to the height of academic excellence and research.
On the other hand, initiatives has been taken forward by implementing activities like astronomy club, learning resource kits, teachers training n so on by UNISED. Rashtriya Avishkar Lab created by IIT Kanpur and UNISED has been imparting education to 180 schools in Kanpur and Auraiya District in Uttar Pradesh.
Meanwhile, IIT Kanpur has been ranked 6th in the NIRF Overall Ranking category. The first position has been secured by IIT Madras and second position by IISc Bangalore. This year MHRD has released the NIRD rankings for 9 categories.
