Haryana asks Universities to complete final year exams by 30 Sept

The Haryana government has chosen to hold all final semester/last year exams of all the courses. This will be under the ambit of higher and specialized instruction division according to UGC rules by September end.

Ankur Gupta, head secretary (higher education), in a request said that colleges must keep UGC’s July 6 rules in mind. Complete the terminal semesters/last year assessments before the end of September. The exam will be conducted in “offline(pen and paper), on the web, or mixed (online + offline) mode”.

The UGC rules gave on July 6 read, “in the event that an student of terminal semester/last year can’t show up in the assessment.

They might be offered chance to show up in unique assessments for such course(s). This might be directed by the college as and when plausible. The above arrangement will be material just for the current scholarly meeting 2019-20 as a one-time measure.

The students of terminal semester/last year students having build-up ought to necessarily be assessed by directing assessments in disconnected, on the web or mixed mode according to plausibility and reasonableness”.
