Final year students demands for evaluation similar to 1 & 2 years

New Delhi : The final year student’s are frustrated this time due to many reasons – delay in their results, examination issue, job security, foreign admissions and many more such reasons.

Universities in India are conducting exams for final years as directed by UGC in either offline, online or blended mode. While, student’s across the nation are demanding for cancellation of exams which is not possible according to UGC and MHRD.

Today, University of Delhi released results for 4th semester students. It was observed that maximum students have received results more than their expectation. In simple words, a student whose average score is 6 in last 3 semesters got 7 CGPA in 4th semester.

This shows that IA + 50% past performance has benefited thousands of students. Definitely if exams happen the results will not be same.

MHRD Minister says about COVID Degree

HRD minister Nishank pokriyal in many interviews said that if we promote final year students , then their degree will be called Corona degree.

They will not be accepted anywhere in future neither in jobs nor in foreign universities.

Final year students clarifies the statement and argued today that 4th semester students have received results today and as per CBCS system all semesters have equal weightage.

If 4th semester students can receive a transcripts without mentioning any (COVID DEGREE) or Corona promotion then the same can be done for final year students as well.

Few Universities declared final year results

There are many universities who have completed their evaluation procedure for final year students and have released the results already. Presidency University situated in west bengal have also declared results today for final year students.

Du admissions

Symboises international have alreayd completed its academic year in March itself. JNU and AMity are also conducting MCQ and Assignments instead of pen paper exams to evaluate results for final years.
