The High court today commenced the Hearing of University of Delhi which was scheduled for 9th July, 2020. The hearing was also conducted on 7th and 8th July 2020.
The Hon’ble Court convened today to hear a batch of matters in which Delhi University OBE case was also listed. UGC has stated that exam, either in online/ offline or blended method compulsorily for final year students before September, 2020
Delhi University was asked by High court to present a revised policy framework, timeline and mode of exams to be conducted by the University by Monday and the matter has been kept for hearing on Tuesday. The next hearing date will now be on Tuesday.
In the next hearing, defense Lawyers will try to impress upon the Court persuasively that exams and type of exams are two different things and assignment/presentation based exam are also within ambit of examination.
