The fifth cut off released on july 11. This year DU was asked to release realistic cut offs rather than extending the cut offs to 7-8 cut offs. With the release of fifth cut off it gave a relief to the students who were able to enroll themselves in the colleges of DU.
Admissions were open for all categories for various courses in colleges like Ramjas, Gargi, satyawati, rajdhani etc
In Ramjas college , in courses economics honours, bcom honours and english honours, seats are available for all the categories. For BA PROGRAMME the percentage required is 93.75% for general category. For admission in BA(H) Economics the percentage necessary is 96.25 for general category. While for English hons , one must have 94.5 percentage to get themselves enrolled in Ramjas College.
In Gargi College admissions are available for various reserved categories for many courses. Percentage for BA Programme is 90.50 for general category. For courses like BA(H) economics and BCOM Hons , the admissions are available for the reserved category.
However, those who haven’t still able to enroll themselves in colleges of DU , don’t loose hope. After the admissions in fifth cut off, there are still as many as 6000 seats still vacant. Although DU was planning to declare fifth cut off as the last cut off, the seats still remain vacant and thus, will release the sixth cut off.
