New Delhi : Delhi High Court directed Delhi University to declare OBE results for phase 1 by first week of October. The court hearing a plea against Delhi University to declare early results of Final year students going abroad.
The hearing was conducted via video conferencing. Delhi HC passed an order regarding the results and provisional results. HC directed Delhi University to declare PG results for students going abroad by maximum 28th september.
While, Under Graduate students going abroad for foreign studies will get results by first week of October as per the order passed by division bench. High Court also asked DU to issue provisional results for UG Students going abroad.

The provisional results will be issued by 25 september as per the court direction. The results for the same will be directly given to University and will be highly confidential so that students don’t lose foreign admissions.
Delhi University stated that they have received more than 900 requests in the past fays for early results. But only 300 students have applied from 900 who are going abroad, rest of the students are enrolled in indian Universities.
High Court clearly stated that as per UGC Guidelines, Indian Universities cannot demand for results on priority basis and Thus High court will not discuss the matter for such students. The court highlights that they will only discuss about the results of students going abroad.
The Results of all UG Courses – Regular/ SOL/ NCWEB will be declared by 1st week of October. HC also directed Delhi University to issue a letter to all principals by tomorrow morning to expedite the evaluation. The court will hear this matter again on 23 September to check the developments.
