DU OBE : DU TO ISSUE PROVISIONAL RESULTS TO UG STUDENTS GOING ABROAD

Exams delayed offers revoke

New Delhi : The High Court on Tuesday directed University of Delhi (DU) to declare UG/PG provisional results at the earliest for students going abroad. The OBE First phase was concluded on August 31.

Delhi University argued that UG Results cannot be declared before mid october. While, they agreed that PG Final year results can be declared for students going abroad for foreign studies by 28 September.

Delhi High Court then directed Delhi University to issue a provisional result stating that student is passed and degree will be awarded later. The Confidential provisional results for such students will be directly sent to concerned foreign universities.

The Delhi University will also send an email to student informing him/her that results has been successfully sent. University will also provide a separate letter to students stating that they are pass in all the semesters. The university will request Embassies to grant visa on the basis of provisional results.

Who will get DU Provisional Results?

The Provisional results will only be given to students going Abroad for foreign studies. The students need to write Delhi University regarding the provisional results. University will verify the admission and as per the deadline they will issue results.

These confidential Provisional results will only be issued for UG students who have secured admission in foreign Universities. Students having admission in Indian Universities cannot apply for these reliefs.
