On 10th of April 2021, Delhi University finally released the long anticipated tentative datesheet for the semester (May-June) examinations for all Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programs as well as the School of Open Learning (SOL) and Non-Collegiate Women Education Board (NCWEB).
As per the datesheet, the examinations will commence from 15th May 2021 and will be conducted in online (open book examination) mode owing to the Covid-19 restrictions. The General Elective (GE) papers are reportedly starting from 18th May, 2021 onwards. The core papers are extending late till June, 2021 this time.
Like the previous OBEs, the students will be
free to refer to academic material while answering the exam questions. Students
facing internet issues may write the exam from college premises. In such a situation,
the college administration will be responsible for providing them the requisite
material.
Students who fail to appear in Terminal Semester/Final Year in OBE Examinations Phase I & II that was conducted in August and September 2020 will also be given an opportunity to write the paper in May-June 2021. The examination form for all the programs is already available on the DU official website and the last date to submit it is April 30.
The official notice mentioned that the examination schedule for CBCS (LOCF), Undergraduate IV Semester of regular, NCWEB, SOL student as well as Essential Repeaters, Improvement, and ex-students of IInd Semester will be released in due course after reviewing the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic situation. The Certificate/Diploma/Advanced Diploma and Language Courses examinations will be conducted by the respective Faculty/Departments. All the details of the will be released in due course of time.
