Delhi University Online Open Book Examination phase 1 is coming to an end. The University is now preparing for 2nd phase of OBE which will be conducted in Online and Offline mode as directed by Hon’ble High Court.
The second phase of OBE will begin from 14th September and will conclude by 3rd October as per the university.
Who can sit for second phase of OBE?
Students who failed to upload or submit the scanned image of answer sheets on portal or e-mail can sit for this phase. The pattern of Examination will be same like as in first phase.
PWD students have an advantage to reappear for this phase again. PWD students who wish to improve their performance in selected papers are allowed to appear for the exams.
What will be mode of OBE Phase 2?

The second phase of OBE will be Online and Offline. The students will be given choice to choose from these two options. If students wish then they can attempt the paper from their home or they can also physically come to write the paper.
What will be the duration of the OBE exam?
The duration of the exam for Regular/ NCWEB/ SOL students will be 4 hours in case they opt for Home based exam (Online similar to phase 1). If students wish to attempt paper physically from colleges then students will be given 3 hours.
PWD students will get 5 hours in case they attempt paper from college and 6 hours will be allotted in case they appear from their home.
Can we take Electronic devices inside the examination hall?
Delhi University will allow all electronic devices such as laptops, tablets or mobile phones inside the hall. Students will receive question paper either on email or whatsapp.
If students want printed question paper, then they can make a request for that. Students also need to carry their own stationary, A4 size answer sheet and water.
