Apart from the Academic field the Placement Cell of this very institution is also doing a very commendable job by setting a benchmark in placing the students in various esteemed organizations and hence adding value, meaning along with that providing guidance, internet based global connectivity and exchange of information at a wider scale. Various reputed companies have been visiting the college like Ernst&Young, Wipro, CIMA , Finitiatiative & Learning India Pvt .Ltd, T.I.M.E, IMS, JIMS , Edumentor, HDFC etc hence providing a package of 3 to 8 lacs per annum. There is also a North East Cell which was established under Ministry of Human Resource and Development in 2014 and since then it has come up with various programs showcasing the lustrous culture of North East and emphasizing on the diversity that India possess. There is also the Enabling Unit completely dedicated towards the physically disadvantaged girls so that a sense of alienation can never dawn them. DRC has been accredited with NAAC ‘A’ grade status and hence it’s infrastructure has gone a complete overhauling, the college is very well equipped with WiFi enabled computer labs, smart classes, digital library, it posses an amphitheatre known as Rangshala, auditorium (Sadhbhavana Bhavan), college canteen providing a slew of mouthwatering and affordable food, it even has it’s own bank known as IOB catering to various financial matters and the best part of the college is the Hostel which is a home away from home for a lot many girls and has been willing acclaims for its positive ambience and lush green lawns that is environment friendly atmosphere.

However there are various reasons that pulls back the college ghence acting as the major demerit, the first demerit is it’s infrastructure which the college has to give a major nudge towards catering to the needs of the colleagues and girls, there must be an introduction to various vocational courses, more discipline and organization must be brought to the fora , more societies like ENACTUS, literary societies must be included , hence if these problems are catered to then it is one of the best college to study that has always focused on women empowerment and is shaping the future’s of millions of girls and as a result I proudly  say that yes I am a DRCian.
