Yesterday on 2nd August 2021, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the list of subjects for which the exams will be held offline of class 12th. This year, the CBSE will conduct examinations for the main subjects only.
Candidates who wish to apply for the examinations can register themselves through the online portal that will be made online on the official CBSE website soon. As per the notice released, offline examinations for CBSE Class 12 Board 2021 would be conducted from August 16, 2021, to 15 September 2021.
The offline exams can be opted by students who are not satisfied with their computed marks. As per the policy, the marks scored in the betterment exams will be counted in the final scorecard.
These exams are held for students who after the declaration of board result 2021, do not meet the qualifying criteria in one subject and are placed in the compartment category. Further, this exam is necessary for Private, Patrachar and second chance compartment candidates etc., whose result has not been declared based on the Policy for Tabulation because of their non-availability of yearlong assessment details.
The examination will contain the reduced syllabus as prescribed for the year of examination. Additionally, the design of the question paper will be similar to the sample question papers that are available on the official website of CBSE.
