This year as well, the girls outshine the boys by a margin of 3.35% while the overall pass percentage is 86.7%.
There has been a dip in the pass percentage over the years. The Class 10th board exams were held by the CBSE after a gap of ten years (2007-17). During the time, the board was following the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) scheme.
The 2017-18 batch is the first batch to give class 20 board exams after the scraping of CCE. The exams are topped by four students bagging 499 marks out of 500. Prakhar Mittal from Gurugram, Rimzhim Agrawal from Bijnor, Nandni Garg from Shamli and Sreelakshmi G from Cochin secured the first position.
