Every year the time gap between the revaluation process and the DU application is an issue for the students. Those who applied for revaluation lost their chance of being in DU as the result of the revaluation comes  after 28 days from the declaration of the CBSE results.

Last year also a student filed a complaint against the CBSE saying that due to the delay in the revaluation he lost his chance of filling DU forms. This year the results were announced early by the CBSE due to the directions given by the court regarding the declaration of results and speedy revaluation process.

Now the CBSE is trying to convince DU authorities to close the registration process after the declaration of Revaluation results. However the process has not even begin yet . It was said that it may be started after the declaration of the election results.
