Application for Undergraduate Courses in DU ended yesterday| Over Two lakh students registered

June 9, 2018: Delhi University (DU) opened the portal for admission in various Undergraduate Courses on May 15, 2018. This year, for many Undergraduate Courses, an entrance exam will be taking place.

The registration for the UG programmes ended at 11.59 pm last night.

This year, there has been an increase in the applications, reaching over two and a half lakh registered students. A total of 2,78,544 aspirants has made the payments as compared to 2.20 lakh candidates (approx.) of last year.

The University has announced five cutoffs for the academic year 2018-19. 
An Official from the University has informed there to be 1,44,248 applications from male candidates; 1,34,297 applications from female candidates; and 29 applications from Others. Out of which, the number of unreserved applicants stands at 1,75,719 and SC and ST applicants number 34,932 and 7,547 respectively.
The first cutoff will be announced on July 19, 2018.
