10% reservation to general category students in DU?

Du Admission committee to discuss over the 10% reservation to be given to general category. According to the sources, University of Delhi’s admission committee would meet on Tuesday to discuss over the implementation o 10% reservation for general category students as said by sources on Monday.

30 new ug and pg courses levels in almost 20 colleges might be introduce was told by Academic Council in a meeting held in varsity on 2nd January. Ug courses approved have BA Hons in Bhim Rao Ambedkar College, BA Hons Economics in Dyal Singh College and many others.

Pg courses were MA English in SGND Khalsa College and MSc in operational research in Shaheed Sukhdev College of Busines Studies and others. Admission committee may initiate discussion on the topic as it can be implemented from the next session though committee denies they haven’t received anything in written form.

Though HRD ministry announced that from the next session economically weaker section of general category students would get 10% reservation too and 25% of seats might be increased in higher education institutes and universities.
