The coronavirus outbreak has impacted people from all quarters of life. Among all sectors, education sector is also badly hit. Schools and colleges have been shut and even the boards exams were postponed due to the lockdown imposed to contain the spread of the virus.
Now, Delhi University is facing a lot of issues on whether exams should be cancelled. postponed for one more month or conduct it online. As of now there is no official notification regarding examination by delhi university. Meetings were conducted on daily bases with the officials, Deans and Vice chancellor of Delhi University through video conferencing keeping social distancing in mind.
There was a suggestion which came in front of the officials which can be the only solution to conduct semester examination successfully without any offline hassle. The solution was to conduct the semester examination fully online this year in order to save time, following social distancing and without any risk of spreading disease. Furthermore, this proposal was unofficially accepted by the university and DUCC is helping them to develop tech support.
Chances of getting semester examination cancelled this year are very less and we advise every student reading this to start preparing for your externals. Now most of students will face issues if online semester was approved by the university. So, here are some views from the students on this proposal which we have posted on our instagram handle.
Delhi university will update on this regard at the earliest by releasing an official notification on their official website du.ac.in.
