So why are DU’s Colleges preferred for the promotion of this event?
The major reason’s for this are as follows :-

1) Delhi University warmly welcome this type of events as the university consider it to be the type of social event which also help in student development. This make it easy for celebs to approach different colleges of DU. Not only that but Students associated have the freedom to invite celebs for their cultural fest etc.

As DU contain students from every religion, state and social class which give a wide range of audience and promotional stage for promoting a event.This is clear from different college’s principals statements like Dr Rama, Principal of Hans Raj College, says, “It’s not as if DU colleges have the funds to pay celebrities. And when they get to interact with thousands of students, there’s nothing else the stars ask for.” SRCC Principal Rajendra Prasad Rustagi also says, “Who’d want to pass up the chance to interact with so many students of an institute as prestigious as DU.

3) Youth , which is the most prominent concern everywhere this also included Bollywood. Many movies of Bollywood are based on youth. So it is really wise choice to promote event in DU.

4) Many movie contain scenes or shot the movie in the campus of DU like

• Band Baja Baraat – The popular songs Tarkeebein of this movie in which there has the roads, boys’s hostel and classroom entirely shot in Hans Raj College.
• Rockstar – The movie was shoot at Hindu and St Stephan College during the summer break. In movie Ranbir Kappor played the jaat boy character who is the student of Hindu College.
• Fukrey – This hit features Delhi University’s Miranda House College.
  Initially, the movie was scheduled to be shot in Shri Ram College of Commerce .
• Do Dooni Chaar – This movie is shot in Kirori Mal College. This movie is a family based movie which become really popular.
• Aakash Vaani – The leads Kartik Tiwari and Nushrat Bharucha played the hostellers-in-love at St. Stephen’s College.

5) Many of DU Alumina have a famous career in B – Town which is also create a special connection and attachment between Bollywood and DU . Some of the actors and directors are as follows :-
