Why do students go crazy and party hard in college?
This question often comes to the mind of generations that have already passed the age of teenage and see a different approach of teenagers in this era. With passing of time, not only perspectives and attitudes changed, but the opportunities and the complexity and idea of freedom also did.
It will be a very hard point of view maybe to get through, if you don’t see it from the eyes of students studying now in college or school and maybe also a student can explain the best to attempt for it’s answers:
1) Freedom – After studying for 12 years in school, most teens already cross the age of 18, which gives them a sense of freedom and belonging to the world, for which they go out with friends and party, to celebrate the adulthood they are entering into and the freedom they will enjoy for being in college.
2) Temptation – It is proven and seen, that whenever, you are stopped from doing something, you will get more tempted to it, our parents don’t allow us to go party or drink alcohol, because it isn’t good for health, but that temptation in the time span of teenage drive many students crazy over these stuff.
3) Peer pressure – Some people go through extreme peer pressure and low self protectiveness and follow what their friends are following to be ritualistically “cool” in front of them, which sometimes lead to activities like partying, clubbing and drinking.
4) Comparison – Many abroad countries have different limitations in their partying activities and drinking ages, which might come across the social media of students, who in the same age, are not able to do so, because of cultural, legal or economic barriers, which put them into comparison and wants to go beyond breaking the laws and enjoy life in only as going to the parties.
