Captain Amarinder Singh, the Punjab chief minister, cancelled university and college exams on Saturday. This decision came out because of the state’s COVID-19 pandemic crisis.
Government press releases said the evaluations of those universities that are currently being conducted online and it will continue without interruption. Amarinder Singh in is weekly session said university and college students are being promoted based on previous year’s results.
Yet when the pandemic subsides, those students who wish to boost their performance will take exams later. He said the universities and colleges are in the process of this decision being enforced. The Decision will be announced in the next few days.

Nevertheless, even though the exams were postponed, Captain Amarinder Singh urged all the students to study earnestly. He advised the students they had to carry on working for their future.
