New Delhi : The Supreme Court directed University Grant Commission (UGC) to file its reply on the final year exam’s within 3 days. UGC officials submitted their reply today in the apex court and they refused to cancel exam’s.
In a 50 page affadavit, UGC mentioned that the decision is taken under the directions of MHRD to protect the future of students. Cancelling the final semester examination will not benefit the youth of the country.
Final hearing in SC Tomorrow , July 31
Supreme Court to hear the matter tomorrow and it is expected to get final order on the same day and no adjournments will be done further. The bench, led by Justice Ashok Bhushan will consider the UGC affadavit filed in response to the petitions.
Advocate alakh alok srivastava has also submitted the Rejoineder and senior officials of Supreme court accepted it and sent rejoinder to Hon’ble judges today evening.
The petition demands to cancel final semester examination and award provisional degrees or mark-sheets on the basis of past year performance or Internal assessment.

Delhi HC & Bombay HC Final Hearing
Delhi & Bombay high court to also conduct final argument tomorrow against UGC decision to conduct final year exam’s before 30 September.
The HC will observe the developments of Supreme Court and take decision accordingly. SC can give a solution to both the parties and solve the matter.
