In these tough times and Global crisis, Univeristy Grant Commission (UGC) have put lakhs of Students in pressure due to compulsion of final year exam’s by all Universities across the nation.
Corona virus pandemic is the natural disaster and our Government should take necessary steps to avoid panic attacks and stress from the student’s instead of creating more.
Final year classes in the current semester was almost washed out and syllabus was also left half way. Many colleges have also not conducted Online classes because of less expertise and lack of infrastructure.

MHRD and UGC in the recent revised guidelines have mentioned that is is necessary to take final year exam’s but the mode of examination will be optional. Universities can adopt Online/ Offline / Blended mode according there preference.
CBCS or Choice based credit system which is adopted by most of the universities in India is initiated by UGC itself which splits the whole course into semester’s that carry more or less equal weightage towards awarding degrees.
Few expert’s and professors also stated that Final year students who have given 5 Semester exam’s and have passed such subject’s are completely eligible to graduate no matter if they don’t give 6th Semester exam’s.
Some Teacher’s questioned that if 6th Semester is souch important than why CAT conducted in November and results came before Students get there 5th Semester results. Univeristies across the globe also provide Admission on the basis of 2nd year’s score card.
