UGC Directs Indian universities to provide provisional Admission

New Delhi : The University Grant Commission (UGC) has directed Indian Universities to allow students for provisional admission without having final results.

The recent notification released by UGC on the official website states that the universities are advised to continue grant provisional admission if students are eligible. Due to pandemic, many universities have not yet completed their final semester exams.

This will further delay the results of final year students. The universities across the nation were clearly advised to grant provisional admission even after 30 September, 2020.

The decision was taken after a high level meeting conducted in the past few days. This will definitely help numerous students who have secured their admission in Indian universities.

Apparently, Students who are going to join foreign universities are still in trouble. Most of the Universities have not released their final results, due to which deadline for submit final documents is approaching soon. In case students don’t submit marksheets or transcripts their admission will be revoked.
