College societies make our college life enjoyable and more interesting. Colleges under Delhi University have lots of societies like Commerce society, economics society, dramatics society, music society, etc. Every society conduct auditions and interviews to select their team.
Here we present you a list of Top 5 MUNs of Delhi University based on survey conducted by our team, regular update, Live voting and review of the students and other determinants.
A MUN is a simulation of an actual United Nations conference, where students are tasked with solving a global issue through research, drafting, lobbying and debate to pass a suitable ‘resolution’.
So here’s the list :-
1. Daulat Ram College Model United Nations : DRC MUN
The first edition of DRC MUN was organised in 2015 and was a huge success at that time. Looking at the spirit of delegates, Éclat couldn’t stop from organising the Model United Nations Conference in the past years and observed great success.
This year again the MUN is being organised in collaboration with United Nations Information Centre for India and Bhutan.

2. Ramjas College Model United Nations
It is a society which aims to sensitize the youth towards the pertinent issues surrounding them and creates a platform to make them conscious of their roles as informed and intelligent individuals in the global society. To achieve the same it undertakes group discussions and formal debate in the Model United Nations format. The society conducts group discussions every week, throughout the academic term, on issues ranging from general interest to current affairs.

3. Kirori Mal College : KMC MUN
KMCMUN is a first of its kind avenue for students to come together and engage with each other on topics that concern the global community. MUN or Model United Nations is a simulation of the United Nation’s where students become delegates of various countries to debate on “real” world issues and try to reach a conclusion. The Council is presided over by a Chairperson, who ensures that the decorum of the Council is maintained at all points. Calling MUN just another event would be an understatement. A successful MUN itself is an experience galore.

4. CVS Model United Nations
शास्त्रार्थ – The Debating Society of College of Vocational Studies recently organized it’s 3rd edition of Model United Nations Conference on 10th and 11th of January, 2020. While the ongoing Model United Nations of CVS we took some delegates from AIPPM and asked them a few questions about their experience, tricks they keep in mind to ace the debate and win it.

5. Certatus : Model United Nations SGND Khalsa College
Certatus: The MUN Society of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College (Delhi University) , is a budding society of the college with an aim to meet the ideology and very essence of the United Nations by simulating it and inculcating dedicated, talented, young and innovative minds who are keen to change their perspective and expand their vision of the globe in diverse arenas.The Society blends fun with a dignified purpose of growing by learning , providing ample opportunities to its members to expand and explore to the core.
CERTATUS was established in the Academic Year 2016-17 by Manan Aggarwal and Arunav Sharma, who were the first to realise the need of an MUN Society in the College and we all are grateful to them for giving us a platform where we can explore new horizons and perceive our thoughts and notions in a wider frame. The Society has grown from a group of few people with an idea to a team of many with purpose. Certatus has successfully managed to hold a number of events in college for the past two years and has participated in even more events.
The intense MUN debates within society and the training sessions ,which it holds, have helped it to create many skilled MUNers. Society is thus looking forward towards its Third academic year in the college with a goal of surpassing itself and making a unique mark for itself among various societies in the college.
SGND Khalsa’MUN society is dedicated to foster diplomacy,debating skills of delegates in a simulation of a Model UN body.
Absolutely bulshit list. These societies weren’t even born since the time JMC and SGTB Khalsa College (Confero ) have been hosting muns for more than 7 years and have produced a great amount of good munners
