IIT Delhi: Crucial updates on admission to PG and Ph.D. programmes

According to a notification released by IIT Delhi on their official website, candidate selection for M.Tech/M.Des for the academic year 2020-2021 is to be held for all categories on the basis of GATE and CEED scores with minimum shortlisting criteria set at the institute.

The last date for submission of the online application and application fee is 10 May, and the test or interview will be held between May 18 to June 17, 2020. In the case of M.Sc.(Economics), date of written test for the admission has not been decided yet and will be updated on the official website of IIT Delhi.

The notice also stated that Interviews for valid candidates who do not have any GATE or CEED score will be held via videoconferencing. Such candidates include IIT graduates with CGPA above or equal to 8.00 partime, sponsored and international.

For admission in MS(R) also, interviews will be held via video conferencing. However, if any academic unit makes any decision of this sort, these might also be done on the basis of GATE score only.
