The Delhi University has released the first merit list for admission to the five years integrated programme in Journalism for 2019-20 academic year. A total of 54 candidates have been offered admission to the course under the first admission list. Also, the merit list has been released in the online mode and the candidates who seeking admission to the course can check the merit list on the official website of the Delhi University i.e. du.ac.in. About 5 year Integrated Programme in Journalism at Delhi University

The Delhi University introduced the journalism course in the year 2017 as a five-year integrated program in two languages Hindi and English. The student also has the choice to leave the college after completion of three years with a bachelor’s degree. The students who wish to complete the remaining two years are given a master’s degree in Journalism.

The DU Examination Authority conducts an entrance exam for admission to this course. The questions asked in the exam include general knowledge, current affairs, analytical and comprehension skills. Also, the entrance test is designed with Class 12th standard syllabus. There are a total of 30 seats are available for general category students, 16 for OBC, 9 for SC, 5 for ST, 3 for PwD, CW and foreign students.
