Delhi university released revised Date sheet for final year students on 2nd July and according to that Date sheet online exams will begin from 10th July for all Final year students.
Delhi university is also conducting Mock test from 4th July to 8th July. Last 2 days of Mock test was seen a big failure According to DU Students as the website crashed many times and Students unite together against OBE.
After a big failure, Many political leaders along with Student bodies came forward and wrote letters to VC and Examination dean to scrap OBE while DU and other universities are still waiting for UGC Guidelines.
Today, DUSU met with Vinay Gupta, Examination dean and ssubmitted memorandum for the benfit of Students. DUSU demanded the university to take assignments rather than a stipulated time examination.
Few things which the university will and shall have to accept and were discussed were:
- Time given be increased and same question paper be used for assignments.
- If any student fails to get its evaluation done, another chance be given.
- Those students who have registered wrong email id and other things, can email their details to examobe@exam.du.ac.in with corrections.
- Portal should not be relied for the evaluations. Submission on email and receiving assignment/questions/ project (same as internals) on email be given to students.
We have been keeping a close watch on the developments. We have given time bound demands to university failing which we shall be forced to take a different course. The students have studied and are prepared and no glitch from university side shall spoil the students efforts. We shall ensure that not even a single student shall be left out.
