This year, Delhi University colleges are not allowed to keep the original documents of the candidates during the admission process. But that doesn’t mean that there won’t be any form of verification. Instead, the colleges will collect the documents and get them verified once the admission procedure is over.

As per the Delhi HC order, the colleges are required to return the original documents immediately after admissions so that students could easily withdraw or shift to other college.

The verification will either be forensic or with the respective boards. If any certificate is found to be fake, the admission will be withdrawn immediately. Colleges like SGTB Khalsa and Ramjas had conducted forensic tests of all documents during the admission procedure. There will be forensic verification for PG admissions as well.
