Since the University of Delhi is going ahead with the online open book examination as a one time alternative in the view of COVID-19 pandemic situation. Many teachers, student bodies and Associations have shown their concern towards it.
Recently, 40 philosophy teachers wrote to VC Yogesh tyagi to withdraw datesheet and promote final year students on the basis of previous performance and internal assessment.
As for now there is no official notification from university of delhi regarding direct promotion of students but this may be possible because of heavy student pressure on the University.
DUSU & DUTA are also giving there best to help final year students whose dreams were vanished because of this COVID-19. Open Book exams is not feasible from the point of view of many organizations, universities and experts.
