Delhi university’s young voters looking for a strong government for the first time

The rise in voters has been from 54 percent in the 2009 Lok Sabha election to 68 percent in 2014. The young voters of Delhi University , who will be joyfully exercising their franchise for the first time, are looking forward to have a strong government at the Centre that can take quick yet efficient decisions in the interest of the country.

There has been a sharp rise turnout in the 18-25 age group , all the parties are trying to woo this strata. It is experienced for the very first time in Indian electoral history that the turnout of first-time voters is higher than the overall voting.

This year, the data will supposedly increase in the upcoming 2019 Lok Sabha elections approximately over 1.5 crore. As reported by a student “With the airstrike on Balakot in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the current government has now set a new bar in dealing with cross-border terrorism,” .
