Students of Police DAV Public School attend a career counselling peer workshop on commerce in Ludhiana.
Police DAV Public School, Police Line, Civil Lines, organized a ‘Peer workshop’ for the students of Class XI and XII (Commerce). Sahib Deep Singh, Wings of Fire cell, Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University, was the speaker of the day. He has an experience of working with JP Morgan, Mumbai and Singapore office.He enlightened students with the importance of commerce stream. Students were told about various career paths they could opt after Class XII. Besides this, various academic strategies were also discussed in which he guided students on how to excel in board exams.Another important segment of the workshop was based on developing one’s personality. Students were taught various techniques to improve their communication skills to master public speaking and stage fear .
