There is good news for students wishing to shift their subjects (streams). Earlier, a student shifting from science to commerce was faced with a 5% cut in his/her score. This has now been reduced to 2%.
Sports and ECA (Extra-curriculuar Activities) quota would be de-linked from the admission cut offs this year. The trials for the category would commence from May 20, 2019.
While not final, DU is trying to contact Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE to get direct access to the student’s mark sheet and other documents. If provided, the students would not be required to upload as many documents as they do at present.
