DELHI UNIVERSITY : 74% SEATS FILLED AFTER SECOND CUTOFF

Around 35,500 students have taken admissions for the undergraduate programmes and it is expected that the number may increase further as 7,546 applicants are yet to pay their admission fee. The last date for candidates to submit the admission fee until October 23, 2020. 

Delhi University offered 70,000 seats in the 61 colleges affiliated to the university. The third cutoff for the admissions for the undergraduate programmes is scheduled to begin from October 6, 2020. A majority of the colleges of Delhi University have stated that the admissions to several courses will be closed with the third list.  

An official from one of the affiliated colleges has stated that a clearer picture of the number of students who have taken admission in the colleges will be clear soon and the decision on the thor cutoff will be taken accordingly.

Admission Details from colleges

Ramjas College has completed the admissions for 1,110 students while Rajdhani College has completed the admissions to 171 students for the B.Com (H) programme.

The university is expected to release five cutoff lists for the admissions to the undergraduate programmes offered by the university. The university has also stated that the admissions to the remaining vacant seats will be conducted based on more cutoff lists depending on the number of seats available.
