Delhi High Court case closed against DU OBE, Order may come tomorrow

New Delhi : Justice Hima Kohli heard the matter in Delhi High Court today challenging Delhi University DU OBE for PWD students. The hearing began at 11:30 in the morning.

The Justice recorded the arguments made by advocate Kapil Sibal on the behalf of petitioner and Advocate Sachin Dutta for DU. Hon’ble court passed order to Delhi University to provide study material to PWD students anyhow.

Court also gave green signal to Delhi University Open book exams scheduled for August 10th and asked DU to inform the result dates latest by 17 August.

Another case which is challenging the DU OBE in delhi high court which is lead by Justice Pratibha M Singh. This case also comes to an end today. The hearing began at 2:30 PM and end at 4:00 PM.

The Hon’ble court has recorded and submitted the responses and arguments made by Petitioners and lawyers. Advocate Akash Sinha and Advocate Sharna made their stand clear and demand for early results, more time limit in uploading answer sheets and best possible way to successfully conduct exams withing UGC guidelines.

Singh bench, Justice Pratibha has not passed any order today. The order is likely to be passed anytime tomorrow, advocate sinha informed. Hon’ble court will examine all the responses and then come to solution with a best possible way.

Advocate Harpreet Singh Hora is also challenging the Legality of conducting open book examination tomorrow in Delhi High Court.
